What is MSM and why is it in hand soap?

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a sulfur-containing compound found in plants, animals, and humans. In hand soap, MSM acts as a sulfur donor to keratin, the protein that forms the structural foundation of skin. Is foaming hand soap as effective as liquid soap?

Yes. Both foaming and traditional liquid hand soaps are effective when used properly. Foaming soap offers practical advantages: people use between 16% and 45% less water to wash and rinse hands with foaming soap, and the pre-lathered foam spreads easily over hands to ensure thorough coverage. The foam also dispenses a controlled amount—preventing waste while delivering effective cleansing.

What sizes do you offer?

Griffin Remedy Foaming Hand Soap comes in three sizes: 8oz bottle ($6.99) perfect for bathroom sinks, 32oz bottle for kitchen or high-traffic areas, and gallon refill as the most economical option for refilling existing bottles. All sizes contain the same MSM-enriched formula with pure essential oils.

Are the essential oils safe for sensitive skin?

Our foaming hand soap is formulated for daily use by the whole family. We use pure essential oils (Bulgarian Lavender, Lemon Verbena, Orange Blossom, or Peppermint Tea Tree) at concentrations designed for wash-off products. For those with fragrance sensitivities, we offer an UNscented version with the same MSM benefits. All formulas are vegan, paraben-free, and contain no artificial fragrances or dyes.

How long does an 8oz bottle last?

With typical use (4-6 pumps per day), an 8oz bottle lasts approximately 3-4 weeks. Foaming soap dispenses the proper amount—equivalent to just a drop or two of concentrated soap per dollop. This controlled dispensing means you use less product per wash compared to liquid soap, making foaming soap more economical over time.

Can I refill my bottle?

Yes. We offer gallon refills specifically for customers who want to reduce plastic waste and save money. Simply refill your existing 8oz or 32oz bottle from the gallon container.
